Sometimes, boundaries are just meant to be broken. Sometimes, it’s as simple as finding a connection from the company you wish to work for or as complex as saving an island from a plague-like curse. If you know you can do it, go for it. No one’s going to do it for you.
Whether it’s a fear of what other people think, fear of moving forward or being stuck in a place, you need to be brave enough to tackle the situation and emerge stronger on the other end.
Navigate your way through your project, career path or job search. Times like these can shake your confidence and self-doubt can overpower you. Create a routine, a timetable or anything that will help you effectively take your mark and go the extra mile. The future is full of unchartered waters. Just take the ride.
Going the extra mile could mean putting in hours of work, reconstructing your CV or doing some extra research on a company or profession. At an interview, take an interest in the company and its views, products and employees. Explain what value you could bring to the company.
Take the first step and there’s no telling how far you’ll go.
